How to revise maths and tackle problem sums? I strongly agree to the points stated in the link below and would like to share it with the parents. Do check it out! :)
Note-taking & note-making I am a strong supporter for making notes on your subjects esp on those subjects that you are less interested in:) It helps to summarize the key points that you need to know in a clear & precise layout (eg mind-mapping) & make learning much easier & simpler,i.e. ALL ONLY AT A GLANCE!! (instead of going through textbooks and tonnes of completed worksheets upon each revision!)
Time management As a student, learning so many subjects is not an easy task. With so many things to do but only 24 hours a day, how can you do things productively? The answer is......TIME MANAGEMENT!:)
Look at your schedule to see how you can plan your time better:) Eg,8 hours of sleep, 4 hours of miscellaneous activities, 6 hours in school. You are left with 6 hours (24-8-4-6). Then apply the 70% & 30% rule* on the rest of the time you have:) Time for study related activities- 70% of 6h=4h For relaxation=2h * Rules adopted from Mr Jervin Lim - Student Development Coach (Author of "A Guide To Achieve Academic Success")
Notwithstanding that, prioritize your work is also important!:)
So...stop procrastinating and start WORKING ON it NOW!!:)
